Don't be fooled by agents that gives you a PowerPoint presentation but in the end does not do their job. A waste of time and money. Thankfully after our contract ended with him we found @christinashaw of Pacific Sotheby's International Realty. There was no anxiety or stress with Christina and Sotheby's. We are sure that we were not the easiest clients Christina has ever had. It was not easy to match our needs with what the market had to offer. In fact, from the time we started working with Christina, it took over 18 months to close on a house. Yet she was always cheerful, optimistic, and never complained. This is the kind of professionalism that is often missing among real estate agents who are more concerned about getting a quick commission than creating repeat business and getting referrals. We have the following three words to describe the excellent experience we had with Christina as our agent: 1. Knowledgeable – Christina is constantly attending seminars and classes to keep herself informed of the latest changes in real estate, as well as other factors that could affect her clients such as major changes to real estate law, mortgage regulations, state and federal tax benefits, etc. 2. Faithful – Christina is faithful to her word. When she says she is going to do something, you can take that to the bank. And in many cases she goes above and beyond what she says she will do. Of course, honesty goes along with faithfulness, and Christina was definitely honest with us. If something didn’t make sense, she would explain to us why and steer us clear of big mistakes. When kids and I finally took a 4-day house hunting trip, she had everything organized. She wasted no time to acquaint us with Irvine neighborhoods and show us the target houses. I was so impresses at her knowledge, efficiency, and bargaining talent. She has been a local resident for two decades.
